On August 6,2019, the China branch of BRICS Institute for the future of networks was inaugurated in Shenzhen. The Chinese branch will realize the dean responsibility system under the leadership of the board of governors. The branch will set up the secretariat of the BRICS Research Council and the Strategic Advisory Committee under the Governing Council.
